Melbourne also has a Magistrates’ Court that deals with criminal, civil, intervention order matters and provides the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) . The criminal jurisdiction of the Magistrates’ Court is able to hear and determine all summary offences, some indictable offences and can conduct committal hearings.
