Overview And Experience

Daniel Dalli is a dedicated family lawyer and a partner at Aston Legal Group. As a long-time friend of the founding partner, Daniel has always shown a vested interest in helping families fight non-litigious battles. In fulfilling this goal, he acted in different capacities in family law before joining Aston Legal Group as a partner. His vast experience spanning more than a decade with intervention orders and criminal law experience, enhances his capacity to offer clients complete legal counsel and help them get the best results.

Education

Daniel Dalli’s journey in law started with a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology and Political Science) degree from the University of Melbourne. During this time, he gained practical skills as a member of the Melbourne Arts Students Society and the university’s UNICEF Club. After graduating, Daniel took up several legal roles that further enhanced his practical skills in litigations. With his foundation in law set, Daniel soared higher by earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from RMIT University. During his studies at RMIT, he participated in different Amnesty International projects that further propelled his mastery of law. This coupled with his membership at RMIT Law Student Society further solidified his expertise in law. 

Daniel forged his way into practising law through the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia after years of solidifying his foundation. While training, he honed his knowledge and skills for practical applications to become the family lawyer he is today. Daniel is currently admitted to the Victorian Bar, allowing him to practice law in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.

Representative Experience

Daniel has made a name for himself as a distinguished expert in family law, especially in intricate fields like criminal law and domestic abuse. Among his many experiences are:

    • Sensitive Family Litigations: He has expertly handled sensitive litigations involving domestic violence and criminal law in family matters, property disputes, and complex custody. Over a decade, Daniel has helped more than 500 clients navigate difficult legal situations and amicably resolve their disputes. 
    • Children Relocation: He has extensive experience negotiating prenuptial agreements and assisting in children’s relocation, both domestically and abroad.

Personal Life

Outside the courtroom, Daniel has an undying love for music evident in his 11 years of commitment in training as a classical guitarist. He is a passionate dog lover and finds joy in spending time with his rescued greyhound. Through this commitment and compassion, Daniel has been able to extend the same virtues in serving his clients as a family law solicitor and put Aston Legal Group’s flag higher.
