Overview And Experience
Anita is a compassionate and dedicated family lawyer at Aston Legal Group, bringing a heartfelt commitment to supporting clients through some of the most challenging chapters of their lives.
Representative Experience
Anita began her legal career at a boutique suburban firm, where she gained broad experience in family law, family violence intervention orders, estate matters, and commercial and civil disputes. It was within the realm of family law, however, that Anita discovered her true calling. Her passion for helping people navigate deeply personal and often emotionally charged issues drove her to specialise in this area.
From the outset, Anita embraces the complexities of family law with energy and purpose. She approaches each of her matters with warmth and clarity, ensuring her clients are armed with the proper advice and genuinely supported. Her clients often describe her as not just a legal adviser, but a trusted confidante; someone who listens intently and always has their best interests at heart. Anita’s natural empathy, coupled with her strong communication skills, ensures that clients feel heard and empowered, even during the most difficult times. She believes that trust and connection are essential in the lawyer–client relationship and prides herself on being approachable and transparent from beginning to end.
Education
Anita holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian Catholic University and completed her Practical Legal Training through the College of Law. As part of her legal training, she undertook a pro bono placement at the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court, where she gained valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes operations of the court system. Her academic journey, combined with practical experience, laid a strong foundation for her career in family law and further affirmed her passion for this area.
She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and is also admitted to the High Court of Australia.
Personal Life
Outside of her legal work, Anita is an adventurer with a deep love for travel, often exploring the world alongside her wonderful husband. At home, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and curling up with a good book or her beloved puppy, Jin. A devoted Star Wars fan since she was 8 years old and an avid reader, Anita finds joy and inspiration in stories. These personal passions ground her and fuel her compassionate, client-centred approach to the law.
